| Abstract: | Ve své práci se zabývám etikou Izraelských obranných sil během jejich boje proti terorismu a guerillové válce. Pokusila jsem se zjistit, zda při tomto boji izraelská armáda dodržuje pravidla ozbrojeného střetu, normy mezinárodního humanitárního práva a svůj etický kodex. Jedná se o asymetrický boj, proto věnuji část práce jeho popisu a úskalí, která jsou s ním spojena. Dále se zabývám vojenskými checkpointy, které jsou symbolem izraelské okupace a místem každodenních třenic mezi izraelskými vojáky a Palestinci. Přispívám svými vlastními poznatky, které jsem získala v terénu. |
| Abstract in different language: | In my thesis I am dealing with the ethics of the Israeli Defense Forces during its fight against terrorism and guerilla war. I attempt to find out if the Israeli army keeps rules of engagement, international humanitarian law and its Code of Ethics during this struggle. It is an asymetrical conflict and so I devote a great part of the work to the description of this kind of conflict and difficulties related to it. I also devote chapter to military checkpoints, symbols of Israeli occupation and points of daily friction between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians. I also use my own findings gained during fieldwork in Israel and Palestinian Authority. |
