| Abstrakt: | Tato bakalářská práce se soustředí na ruské národní zájmy v Severním ledovém oceánu. Cílem je zjistit hlavní ruské motivace v Arktidě a způsoby, jakými chce svých cílů dosáhnout. V nejbližší budoucnosti Rusko plánuje rozšíření exkluzivní ekonomické zóny svého kontinentálního šelfu v právním rámci UNCLOS. Dále Rusko posiluje svou vojenskou přítomnost v oblasti, v zájmu zajištění bezpečnosti, demonstrace síly a zabezpečení svých zájmů. Také klade důraz na strategický význam Severní mořské cesty, kterou považuje za své území. Oproti tomu rybolovný potenciál v regionu v současnosti nehraje významnou roli, to se však v budoucnu může změnit. |
| Abstrakt v dalším jazyce: | This bachelor´s thesis focuses on Russian national interests in the Arctic Ocean. The purpose of this work is to determine main Russian goals in the Arctic and to find out, which methods will they likely use to realize their goals. Russian national interests in the Arctic are primarily oil and gas resources and their development, new options of seafaring and maritime shipping, especially in Northern Searoute, and less significant fishing potential. To secure these interests Russia´s government figured out special Arctic Strategy, which includes international cooperation, military presence in the region, scientific researches etc. This strategy is now to be realized. Russia is plannig to extend its exclusive economic zone in near future, by the legal framework of UNCLOS. Scientific researches to support this case has already begun. Russia is also strenghtening its military presence in the Arctic to secure its interests, demonstrate its power and provide security for inhabitants and infrastructure. It has also declared the importance of Northern Searoute in the Framework of Russian jurisdiction and will to defend its stance. Fishing potential doesn´t have such as high importance in the presence, but in the future there is chance to change this state. |
