V krátkém historickém exkurzu přibližuje vznik a vývoj této instituce do roku 1871.
Abstract in different language: The presented diploma thesis treats the development of the notarial profession in Silesia. In a short historical excursion it gives to the reader the idea of the origin and the development of this institution until 1871. The main part of the thesis is focused on the period following the release of the Code of Notaries in 1871, as well as on the Czechoslovak notarial profession until 1939, when the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia was established. It does not neglect the Third Reich legislation of the notarial profession in the Sudetenland and in the above-mentioned Protectorate. The after-war period is mentioned only in a brief chapter until 1948. The closing part of the thesis is reserved for important personalities of the notarial profession in Silesia including their biographic information. Some period documents are attached for illustration.
