Abstract in different language:	The aim of the contribution is to discuss the specific position of political science within the science communication approach and strategies. The political science seems to be overrepresented in the Czech public discourse and media, but the majority of such „political science“ presentations does not represent the research results, but the comments and analysis not directly related to the political science. On the examples we stress the necessity to sensitively differentiate between the science about the politics and power at one side, and the political comentatorship on the other. Furthermore we present the most important techniques and methods in science communication related to the political science and political research, mainly in the Czech milieu.
