Abstract: This paper deals with the investigation of the energy yield of renewable energy systems, specifically photovoltaic and wind turbines, for the prospective rising amount of e-cars. The aim of the paper is to determine the possible energy yield in comparison to the required energy of the vehicles on highways in Saxony.
