| Abstract: | Na začátku práce je nastíněna situace před nástupem Alexandra Velikého na trůn. Stěžejní část bakalářské práce je zaměřena na jednotlivé Alexandrovy bitvy a představuje jeho největšího nepřítele Dáreia III. Práce se opírá hlavně o zdroje starověkých autorů, kteří se zabývají Alexandrovým životem. Jde především o Arriána, Plútarcha a Curtia Rufa. Závěrečná kapitola se věnuje shrnutí Alexandrovy vlády, rozdělení říše a následného spojení řecké a blízkovýchodní kultury v dobytých územích. |
| Abstract in different language: | The beginning of the thesis describes the period before the onset of Alexander the Great on the throne. The next chapter, which is a key part of the thesis, is focused on individual battles and Alexander´s most important enemy persian king Darius III. The sources were mainly books of ancient authors, who wrote about Alexandr´s live, such as Arrian, Plutarch and Curtius Rufus. The final chapter focuses on the summary of Alexander's government, the division of the empire and the subsequent connection of Greek and Middle Eastern culture in the conquered territories. |
