| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou euthanasie a asistované sebevraždy z pohledu judikatury Evropského soudu pro lidská práva. Práce vymezuje pojem euthanasie a rozlišení druhů euthanasie a poskytuje vhled do právní úpravy vybraných evropských zemí. Poté se práce věnuje významným rozhodnutím Evropského soudu pro lidská práva týkající se euthanasie a asistované sebevraždy, která jsou jednotlivě analyzována. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis is concerned with the issue of euthanasia and assisted suicide from the perspective of jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights. This thesis defines the term euthanasia and distinction of types of euthanasia and provides insight into the legislation of the selected European countries. Afterwards, the thesis is focused on important decisions of European Court of Human Rights concerning euthanasia and assisted suicide which are then individually analysed. |
