| Abstract in different language: | This study, based on archival resources and chronicle of Jakob Schabner, will outline the course of the Thirty Years War in Weiden in the Upper Palatinate in its first part, focusing especially on the conquest of the city, on attempts at them, and on military stays and their aspects. In the second part, it will focus on the war experience of the local population and the struggle of the burghers with soldiers. |
