Literární jazyk vs. filmová řeč. K hledání nových pohledů na válku a totalitu v české kultuře 60. let

Abstract

Studie analyzuje vybrané aspekty vztahu literárního jazyka a filmové řeči z hlediska literární a filmové estetiky a ve středoevropském kulturním kontextu v období totalitních režimů dvacátého století. Soustřeďuje se na českou prózu šedesátých let a na novou vlnu československého filmu. Próza a filmy českých a slovenských autorů tohoto období jsou spjaty s úsilím o nové umělecké vyjádření, s hledáním nové perspektivy nahlížení na tabuizovaná nebo ideologicky zatížená témata z Druhé světové války a komunistického režimu. Specifická situace československé kultury v 60. letech, kdy byla uvolněna ideologická omezení i v umění, umožnila vznik děl, která nejsou uzavřenou kapitolou literární a filmové historie, ale jsou dodnes inspirativní.

The author of the study analyzes selected issues of literary and film language relations both from the point of view of literary and film aesthetics and in the context of the Central European cultural area during the totalitarian regimes of the twentieth century. She is especially interested in the Czech prose of the 1960s and the new wave of Czechoslovak film. The prose and film of the Czech and Slovak filmmakers of the period are remarkably connected with the efforts for a new artistic expression with the pursuit of a new perspective on taboo or ideologically accentuated themes from World War II and the Communist regime. The specific situation of Czechoslovak culture in the 1960s, when the ideological constraints of art were released, enabled the creation of works that are not a closed chapter in literary and film history, but are still inspiring to this day.
