| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá postavením žen v moderním judaismu v kontextu soudobých společenských zvyklostí. Na základě terénního výzkumu předkládá rozbor názorů respondentů z různého sociálního a náboženského zázemí. Pokouší se zobecnit subjektivní chápání postavení žen v závislosti na míře ortodoxie prostředí, v němž žijí. Důrazně poukazuje na potřebu chápání odlišností ve vnímání postavení a rolí mužů a žen vůči většinové společnosti. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with the role of women in modern Judaism in the context of the contemporary conventions. Based on a field research it presents an analysis of opinions of respondents with a varying social and religious background. It attempts to generalise the subjective perception of women?s status related to the level of orthodoxy of their environment. Emphasis is put on the need of understanding the differences in the perception of gender status and roles compared to the majority society. |
