| Abstract: | Kniha tedy pojednává o osobní zkušenosti a dojmech, které jsem prožila během půl roku v polské Lodži. Je vní shrnuto jak se v Polsku žije, jak fungují všední věci a kam je dobré zajít, či co dělá Lodž zajímavým městem. |
| Abstract in different language: | For my bachelor thesis, I chose the theme of the author's book, in which I wrote my memories of my stay in Lodz with the addition of linocut illustrations. In 36 pages, I am summarizing the most important insights and events, and presenting them in a "booklet" to the reader. The book is consisting of 19 illustrations depicting the iconic places of the city, characterizing some Polish customs and immortalizing my feelings tied to that five-month stay. Then, in the text part of my bachelor thesis, I am describing deeper the reason of the chosen topic, the main aim of the work, the process of preparation and creation, where I am also further advocating the choice of font, format and layout or printing and binding. I am also explaining the connection with benefits for my current and future field of study and describing the strengths and weaknesses. |
