| Abstract: | Tématem bakalářské práce je autorská kniha. Volba tohoto tématu byla podmíněna jeho obsahovou bohatostí, jakožto snoubení nejen výtvarného, ale i textového výrazu. Tyto bohaté disciplíny jsem se rozhodla propojit s dvojím záměrem. Dát vyniknout jejich samostatné pestrosti a souběžně, nabýt funkce navzájem podpůrné a rozvíjející. Ve své práci jsem ovšem nezvolila rozvíjející charakter, který by dílu propůjčili dva různí autoři, záměrem je zcela jiný podpůrný princip. Jsou jen velmi těžko dohledatelné zdroje mínění, že dobrý spisovatel musí bezpodmínečně znát o svém textu více, nežli sděluje. Na druhou stranu pravdivost tohoto tvrzení lze dohledat v bezpočtu souhlasných odpovědích významných autorů. Z tohoto důvodu jsem se rozhodla nastínit možnost hloubky, kterou může v doprovodných ilustracích dílu dodat pouze sám autor textu. Nejde však o hloubku obrazu, nýbrž prohloubení nevyřčené scény. Po vzoru Josefa Váchala jsem zvolila cestu autorské knihy se záměrem využít veškerých dovedností, které může jeden člověk vydat jedné knize. Ve své práci tak uplatňuji nejen autorské texty a ilustrace, ale také vizuální úpravu a vazbu knihy. Do finálního výběru z autorských textů se dostalo sedm povídek, které byly opětovně revidovány či dokonce přepsány, aby jejich aktuálnost a forma nabyla maximální kvality. Stylem i tématem jsou odlišné. Zde se dostávám k pojetí ilustrací. Hlavní vazbou mezi ilustracemi a textem je zrcadlení jejich různorodosti. Uchýlila jsem se proto ke zvýraznění této ideje zvolením různých grafických technik. Každá grafická technika a taktéž i zvolený způsob pojetí dané techniky propůjčuje ilustraci jedinečný charakter. Zvolenými technikami jsou: linoryt, litografie, suchá jehla a serigrafie. Cílem nebylo podřídit ilustrace grafické technice, nýbrž vytvořit sedm souborů ilustrací, jejichž podoba se bude upínat výhradně k tomu, co doprovází. Proto byly grafické techniky přiřazeny k jednotlivým ilustracím až po jejich navržení. Jedno vyvedení knihy je doplněno o originální grafické tisky, které jsou do knihy vlepeny. U tohoto vyvedení bylo zvoleno vizuálně výrazné oblišení v materiálu obálky pro snadnou orientaci mezi výtisky. Kniha je opatřena jednotným názvem Monolok, symbolizujícím konverzaci jednoho a zároveň poukazující na obavy spojené s prvním publikováním. |
| Abstract in different language: | As the topic of my thesis I have chosen the author's book. The choice of this theme was conditioned by its content richness, as a combination of the visual and also the textual expression. I decided to combine these two disciplines with a dual purpose. Giving out their individual diversity and at the same time create a mutually supportive and developing function. I am not trying to discover a new dimension which would have the cooperation of more authors. I am building my work on a meaning, that good writer must unconditionally know more about his text than he says. Find sources of this concrete opinion is really problematic and hard. But, the truthfulness of this statement can be traced in countless positive responses from major authors. For this reason, I have decided to show the depth that can only be achieved by the author of the text who also creates the illustrations. It must be clear that it is not the depth of the picture, but the deepening of the unspoken scene. Following the example of Josef Váchal, I chose the path of the author's book with the intention of using all the skills one person can give to one book. After final selection, I had seven short stories, which have been revised or even rewritten, for their timeliness and quality improvement. They are different in style and theme. Here I come to the concept of illustrations. The main link between illustrations and text is to mirror their diversity. I turned to highlight this idea by choosing different graphic techniques. Each graphic technique as well as the chosen way of conception of the technique gives the illustration a unique character. The techniques chosen are: linocut, lithography, dry needle and serigraphy. The aim was not to subordinate the illustrations to graphic techniques, but to create seven sets of illustrations, which would develop the content of the stories. Therefore, the graphic techniques were assigned to individual illustrations only after they were designed. Final book visual with yellow and black was chosen for gentle effect of warm colour and high contrast with black print. I have chosen a slightly yellowed paper to associate traditional graphic techniques and handmade paper for book cover. |
