| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je rozkrýt pomocí teorie životní dráhy motivy, které vedly interkulturní pracovníky k rozhodnutí věnovat se tomuto povolání. Vychází z předpokladu, že tito lidé sami prošli cestu migrantů, v jejímž průběhu se museli vyrovnávat s novým kulturním prostředím, a díky tomu jsou kvalifikovaní k tomu, aby pomohli dalším cizincům na této cestě. Museli se potýkat se strukturálními překážkami spojenými s jejich znevýhodněným postavením migranta, a já se proto soustředím na tento druh překonávaných bariér. Využívám k tomu metodu biografického rozhovoru typického pro teorii životní dráhy a analyzuji hlavní kategorie, abych odhalila vztah mezi jednáním interkulturních pracovníků a sociálním kontextem, v rámci kterého se rozhodli věnovat se tomuto povolání. |
| Abstract in different language: | The aim of the thesis is to search for motivation behind the decision to become an intercultural worker using the life course theory. These workers experienced themselves the path of a migrant encountering new cultural environment and therefore they are now well qualified for helping other foreigners to pass this specific journey. They had to overcome certain structural obstacles connected to the disadvantaged position of a migrant and I try to concentrate on these type of struggles. I use qualitative method of a biographical interview typical for the life course theory and analyse the main categories so that I could reveal the relationship between actions of the intercultural workers and social context in which they decided to pursue this profession. |
