dc.description.abstractKrize identity britského národa je fenoménem s hlubokými historickými kořeny a dlouhou tradicí. V první části práce popisuji čtyři tradiční směry britské orientace, které poprvé zmiňoval Timothy Garton Ash ve své knize a esejích. Tento základ pak využívám k vytvoření vlastní interpretace čtyř hlavních směrů zahraniční politiky Velké Británie. Cílem této práce je popsat a analyzovat zahraniční politické orientace dvou hlavních politických stran v Británii: Konzervativní strany a Labouristické strany. Dvě další britské strany, zejména Liberálně demokratická strana a Demokratická unionistická strana, v současné době výrazně ovlivňují zahraničně politické směřování Spojeného království, právě proto jsou také zanalyzovány v rámci jednotlivé kapitoly. Ve své analýze jsem použila volební programy výše zmíněných stran, jakož i projevy a prohlášení předsedů těchto politických stran.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThe identity crisis for the British nation is a phenomenon with a deep historical roots and long tradition. In the first part of this work I describe four traditional directions of British orientation, which was first mentioned by Timothy Garton Ash in his book and essays. Then I use this basis for creation my own interpretation of four main directions of the foreign policy of Great Britain. The purpose of this work is to describe and analyze the foreign political orientations of the two main political parties in Britain: the Conservative Party and the Labor Party. Two other parties are also considered separately: the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Unionist Party, which had a significant influence on the formation of the foreign policy of the United Kingdom during the period of this analysis (2013 - 2019). In my analysis, I used the election programs of the abovementioned parties, as well as speeches and proclamations by the main politicians of these parties.en
