Abstract in different language: The concept of national policy in the Soviet Union represents an interesting phenomenon. The Soviet Union was an ethnically very heterogeneous state, within which it was necessary to systematically conceive the position and relations between the individual ethnic groups. The aim of the text is to point out the complexity of the phenomenon and to define the basic ideological and theoretical concepts that influenced real national politics. With regard to the author‘s research specialization, the issue will be defined primarily in the context of ethnic processes and political measures in the Soviet part of Central Asia.
