| Abstract: | Žáci na 1. stupni základní školy se nacházejí ve stádiu konkrétních operací. Proto je třeba, aby nové matematické poznatky získávali prostřednictvím vizuálního vnímání, tedy na základě znázornění nebo manipulace. Vhodnou pomůckou k manipulaci jsou Cuisenairovy hranolky, které můžeme využít při porovnávání čísel a znázorňování základních matematických operací. |
| Abstract in different language: | Primary school children find themselves in the concrete operational stage. Thus, it is desirable for them to gain new knowledge by the means of visual perception, that is, through illustration or manipulation. Cuisenaire rods are a suitable tool for manipulation as they can be used for number comparison and the illustration of elementary mathematical operations. |
