| Abstract: | Aproximace i interpolace jsou techniky běžně používané v mnoha vědeckých oblastech. Mnoho přístupů závisí na typu vstupních dat, účelu atd. Vstupní data mohou být vytvořena v mřížce nebo ne. Tento příspěvek je zaměřen na aproximaci a interpolaci dat bez mřížky pomocí radiálních bázových funkcí (RBF). Různé RBF se chovají odlišně, ale mnoho z nich má parametr tvaru. Tento článek porovnává různé RBF a jejich tvarové parametry a také poskytuje některé experimentální výsledky pro každou ze zvolených RBF. |
| Abstract in different language: | Both approximation and interpolation are techniques commonly used in many scientific areas. Many approaches are depending on input data type, result purpose etc. Input data can be formed in a mesh or not (meshless/meshfree data). This contribution is oriented on meshless data approximation and interpolation using Radial Basis Functions (RBFs). Different RBFs behaves differently, but many of them have a shape parameter. This paper compares various RBFs concerning its shape parameters and provides some experimental results for each of the selected RBF. |
