Abstract in different language: This paper deals with the suggestion and the implementation of a material model into the commercial software Abaqus. The material model is capable to simulate a progressive damage of composite materials. The progressive damage simulation is based on a stiffness matrix degradation and the 3D Puck failure criterion. Statistics of the input material parameters is simulated. The pre- dictive capability of the material model was tested by the comparison of the numerical simulations to the tensile test of a laminate.
