| Abstrakt: | Svou diplomovou práci jsem postavila na 3D tisku keramiky. Chtěla jsem poznat tuto technologii, naučit se s ní pracovat a využít ji co nejlepším způsobem. Během své práce s tiskárnou jsem narazila na technologické problémy, které se neslučují s prací s keramickou hmotou. Pracovala jsem s porcelánem díky jeho průsvitnosti, protože výsledným produktem je stínidlo lampy. Na rozdíl od filamentu je keramická hmota neustále v pohybu, což není v souladu s přesností 3D tiskárny. Během tisku tak vznikaly na objektech defekty, které se mi nedařilo eliminovat. Proto jsem se rozhodla vytvořit stínidlo i analogovým způsobem práce s porcelánem, tedy odléváním do sádrových forem, které jsem ručně vymazávala hmotou připravenou pro tisk. Výsledkem jsou dva protipóly tvorby. Na jedné straně stojí 3D tisk řízený počítačem a na té druhé řemeslo řízené intuicí a pocitem. |
| Abstrakt v dalším jazyce: | My main concert in my final thesis is definitely 3d printing. My hunger for this technology comes from a previous study which was product design at Ladislav Sutnar faculty of design and art. On the other hand I wanted to understand this technology in combination with more traditional materials such as porcelain. During this journey I faced a lot of problems which don't match traditional techniques and also you can't ignore material behavior. In this type of porcelain I wanted to play with one of the key features of the material which is partial translucency. So the final print could be use as a light shade. But there is one difference between printing from porcelain and mainstream FDM printing. Porcelain contains a lot of water, you have to know the shrinking behavior, air bubbles in the mixture you print from etc. At the end you get the prints with small imperfections you can't eliminate. It's really a game of chance. This was a reason why I decided to create another version of the shade using traditional techniques. These versions are made completely by hand using the same mixture of the porcelain. As the final result you can find two opposites of the product. One made by a 3d printer and on the other hand a light shade made completely by hand based on my experience with the material, my intuition and feeling. |
