| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je o dějinách Knihovny města Plzně. Obsahuje její historii a vývoj v letech 1945-1989. Nejprve je v ní popsána historie před rokem 1945. Práce začíná jejím založením a počátečním fungováním, následně je věnována její činnosti po válce až do 80. let. Zmíněny jsou i historické a politické souvislosti, které s vývojem knihovny úzce souvisí. V práci je kapitola o ředitelích knihovny, jejich životě a přínosu. Zabývá se také jejím stěhováním a historií pojízdné knihovny. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis deals with the history of The Pilsen City Library. It includes its history and development in the period 1945-1989. First, it describes the history before 1945. The work begins with the establishment and initial operation, then it dedicates to its activities after the war until 80 years. As well you can find there the historical and political context which is closely related to the development of the library. The work includes also a chapter about the library?s directors, their lives and merits. It also deals with the history of relocations and mobile library. |
