| Abstract: | Práce si klade za cíl postihnout kulturní a sociální funkce klášterů ve středověku. Věnuje se klíčovým funkcím - literární činnosti, historické literatuře, vzdělávací funkci klášterů, charakteru klášterního umění a architektury, klášternímu hospodářství, zbožnosti a poutnictví. Celek je doplněn pojednáními o aspektech středověké povahy myšlení a charakteru víry. Ke vzorovým příkladům v této práci slouží benediktinský řád, neboť ve středověku zastával dominantní postavení. |
| Abstract in different language: | The intention of this work was affect to functions of the medieval monasteries. Work is devoted to cultural and social functions.This work is interested in literary references of monasteries, education, economic functions of monasteries, architecture and artistic functions and socials functions of monasteries. Social functions include the pilgrimage and care for pilgrims. For examples is used Benedictine order, because was the dominant order in the Middle Ages. The work is completed about mental aspects of medieval people and about character of medieval beliefs. |
