Abstract in different language: The survey of minor Věžka Castle, located above the right bank of the Berounka River near Druztová (Plzeň-North District), under the leadership of academic painter Václav Uchytil in 1962–1972 seems to be quite problematic from the modern archaeological point of view since only part of the original documentation has been preserved. However, one of few original resources is known in the form of photographic tables made by Václav Uchytil, depicturing not only the earthworks and excavation process themselves, but chosen finds as well. Reconstructed tables, damaged by floods in 2002, are the unique source depicturing many non-existent parts of castle's construction features demolished in the process of the excavation. Photos of Václav Uchytil therefore present a valuable source of information about the Prehistoric use of the castle's upper hillock.
