| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is concerned with the differences between Old and Modern English as seen in the tittle.The historical account of English enables us to find coherence in many of the fluctuations and conflicts of present-day English language use. The aim of this work is to map particular periods of the English language, to approach this issue on the basis of given examples taken from Old and present-day English and to provide readers with brief theory. |
| Abstract in different language: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi starou a moderní angličtinou, viz.nadpis. Historie angličtiny nám umožňuje porozumět odchylkám a rozporům současné angličtiny. Snahou této práce bylo popsat jednotlivá období anglického jazyka, přiblížit problematiku na základě uvedených příkladů vyňatých ze staré angličtiny a poskytnout čtenářům stručnou teorii. |
