Hodnocení sesuvného ohrožení a metody tvorby map náchylnosti území ke vzniku svahových deformací

Abstract

Importance and demand for spatial and temporal predictions of occurrence of dangerous slope failures is increasing in the recent years. Correspondingly the number of scientific papers concerning these questions is increasing without general agreement about definitions of basic terms used. This article tries to find most widely used definitions of terms such as landslide hazard and susceptibility maps. Overview of basic principles and methods used for landslide susceptibility assessment is also given. These methods are grouped into two main groups - qualitative and quantitative, according to degree of their subjectivity. Division into deterministic and statistic methods is based on the principles used for landslide susceptibility assessment.
