Abstract: The main thesis of the paper is the claim that causality can be secured as a general law, which is not fixed a priori or a posteriori, by conceiving of an infinity which is possible only by means of language. Wittgenstein’s thoughts on causality as an empirical generalization in language and a set of rules of grammar are presented as arguments supporting the thesis.
