| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá nadnárodními korporacemi a jejich vlivem v rozvojových zemích. První část je zaměřena na popis nadnárodních společností, jejich historii, jejich propojení s globalizací a způsoby jejich obchodování, které zahrnují například přímé zahraniční investice. Druhá část je případovou studií, zabývající se společností Shell v Nigérii a Coca-Cola v Indii, kde jsou ukázány konkrétní praktiky těchto korporací v těchto zemích a jejich dopady na životní prostředí. Obě studie jsou poté zhodnoceny a na jejich základě jsou odpovězeny výzkumné otázky. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis analyses the issue of transnational corporations and their influence in developing countries. First part is focused on the decription of transnational corporations, their history, their connection with globalisation and their ways of doing bussiness which includes for example foreigh direct investments. The second part is a case study between Shell in Nigeria and Coca-Cola in India where are pointed out specific practices of these corporations in these countries and their impact on the environment. Both studies are then evaluated and based on them is answered to research questions. |
