| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na problematiku eutanazie a základních lidských práv, se kterými může být v kolizi. V práci jsou vysvětleny pojmy eutanazie a asistovaná sebevražda společně s paliativní péčí. Dále se zabývá základními lidskými právy, které jsou často uváděny u Evropského soudu pro lidská práva jako argument pro umožnění eutanazie. V následujících kapitolách je revidován český právní řád, pokusy o legalizaci eutanazie v České republice. Poslední kapitola je věnována státům, kde eutanazie nebo asistovaná sebevražda je legální. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work focuses on the issue of euthanasia and the fundamental human rights with which it may be in conflict. The thesis explains the concepts of euthanasia and assisted suicide together with palliative care. It also discusses the fundamental human rights that are often cited in the European Court of Human Rights as an argument for allowing euthanasia. In the following chapters, the Czech legal order is reviewed, as well as attempts to legalize euthanasia in the Czech Republic. The last chapter is devoted to countries where euthanasia or assisted suicide is legal. |
