| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá reformami americké rozvojové pomoci, které přinesl prezident George W. Bushe. V úvodu jsme seznámeni s rozsahem a zaměřením rozvojové pomoci Spojených států amerických před nástupem George W. Bushe. Dále se zabýváme motivy, které George W. Bushe vedly k tak zásadní změně v této oblasti. Hlavní část práce je studií nejvýznamnějších rozvojových programů, na kterých se Spojené státy americké za jeho vlády podílely, a to Millennium Challenge Account, President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief a Millennium Development Goals. Cílem práce je zjištění, jak programy fungují a jaká je jejich efektivita. |
| Abstract in different language: | Bachelor thesis deals with american development aid reforms under president George W. Bush. At the beginning we introduce the extent of the development aid of the United States before George W. Bush came into office. Then we deal with motives that led Goerge W. Bush to make such significant changes in this area. The main part of the Bachelor thesis is focused on the most important development programmes, on which the United States participated under George W. Bushe. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to find out how the programmes work and how effective they are. |
