Abstrakt v dalším jazyce:	Purpose of the article constitute foreign source of funding for investment projects. Investment incentives are the form of state aid, which significantly affects investors' decisions on the location of investment in the economy. This scheme may take various forms, depending on what purpose the country getting investment follows. They are tax credits, treatment levy obligations, direct government subsidies, the provision of land, buildings etc. The scientific paper is to determine the status. The main focus is based on data available to assess the nature and importance of investment incentives provided in the Slovak republic. We analyze the current state of the issue, while focusing mainly on state aid and effectivness of funds spent for investment aid.
