dc.description.abstract-translatedThis contribution will provide informa- tion about the possibilities and limitations of the use of discursive analysis of textual data with the help of the statistical program Hamlet 2.0. It con- sists of two mutually interconnected parts. In the first part of the contribution, the theory of the method of discursive analysis will be discussed. The second part will be focused on the application of the statistical program Hamlet 2.0 in practice. This will be shown using the example of a partial discursive analysis of state administration and self- government relating to Islam in the Czech Repub- lic, which was part of the project „Islam in CZ: The establishment of Muslims in Czech public spaces“. Readers will be apprised of all steps in the analysis using the program Hamlet 2.0, which include se- lection of the texts, their preparation for analysis, the data analysis itself and possibilities for the final interpretation of results. On the basis of this prac- tical example, the advantages and disadvantages of this program for applied anthropo-sociological research will also be presented.en
