| cs |

dc.description.abstract-translated | Theology examines the designation of man as God´s image, pursues the relation of man to the rest of creation and his responsibility for it. It does not refute the evolution theory as such, it reserves, however, for man his uniqueness of relationship with God. It becomes apparent that religion is a transcultural phenomenon appearing at the very down of the history of man. This opinion is held not only by theologians, but it can be found in conclusions of some natural scientests. The chimpanzee and many further animals are in many respects very similar to man and there can be found in them not only classic human characteristics, but even less easily measurable characteristics such as art, culture, tradition and morale. But the relation to something which surpasses man and even his institutionalisation in religion can be found in man only. | en |
