dc.description.abstract-translated | This paper describes an image segmentation technique based on water-inflow. We show how images can be segmented by a mere distinction between water or ground using a filling process. We explain how the rising water level can be used to create object hierarchies. These hierarchies cannot be achieved by many other algorithms. We also compare the results of our algorithm with those of other segmentation techniques. | en |
