Abstract in different language: | Enterprise performance management is one of the hottest topics of managing an organization as well as a source of problems that make its reception difficult. One of the generally problematic areas is the application of the outcomes of performance evaluatio n, which is the focus of this article. In the theoretical part, this application phase is first described as part of a comprehensive performance management process, then a typology of individual application purposes outcomes is presented and then some of t he problematic aspects are pointed out. The analytical part based on a quantitative analysis of data obtained from 331 organizations provides the findings on the application of the outcomes of performance evaluation in Czech organizations. The analyses pr ovide the findings on how Czech organizations use performance evaluation outcomes, whether these organizations believe that they are able to take an adequate measures to increase performance, how the perception of the success in these activities relate to practices that organizations use in earlier stages of the performance management process (i.e. the area of strategic plans creation and measurement process) and to a subjective evaluation of outlined performance goals. The analysis shows that 70% of organi zations have adopted certain measures to increase efficiency and 25% face issues with adopting adequate changes. The data also show that the problems encountered in the previous stages, i.e. planning and evaluation, are related to the ability to take adequ ate measures to increase efficiency. |
