dc.description.abstractTato diplomová práce se zabývá intermediálním srovnáním postavy pianistky Eriky Kohut v románu Die Klavierspielerin od rakouské spisovatelky Elfriede Jelinek a stejnojmenné filmové adaptaci od rakouského režiséra Michaela Hanekeho. První část je věnována teoretickému úvodu do problematiky zfilmování literatury, literární adaptace, teorie intermediality a analýzy filmové postavy. Další část práce se věnuje Elfriede Jelinek, jejímu úspěšnému románu Die Klavierspielerin, charakteristice hlavních románových postav a především deformacím postavy Eriky Kohut způsobených vlivem rodiny a společnosti. V následující části je představen Michael Haneke a jeho volné filmové zpracování Die Klavierspielerin. Cílem této práce je shrnout shody a rozdíly v charakteristice hlavních postav románu a filmové adaptace. Hlavní důraz je kladen především na vlivy, jež ovlivnily postavu Eriky Kohut.cs

dc.description.abstract-translatedThis thesis deals with the intermedia comparison of the main character Erika Kohut in the novel The Piano Teacher, written by Austrian writer Elfriede Jelinek, and in its film adaptation from Austrian director Michael Haneke. The first part is devoted to a theoretical introduction to the issues of film adaptation, intermedia theory and analysis of film characters. The next part deals with Elfriede Jelinek, her successful novel The Piano Teacher, the characteristics of the main characters of this novel and especially with the deformation of the protagonist Erika Kohut caused by the influence of family and society. In the following part is introduced Michael Haneke and his loose film adaptation of The Piano Teacher. The main goal of the thesis is to present similarities and differences in the characteristics of the main characters between the novel and its film adaptation. The emphasis is put primarily on the influences that have affected the character Erika Kohut.en
