Kapitoly v teoretické části popisují obraz diabetu, rozdělení základních typů, akutní a chronické komplikace, amputace, péči o amputační pahýl a soběstačnost v osobním životě diabetika. Praktická část je složená ze čtyř kazuistik, sleduje průběh terapie a soběstačnost klientů.cs
