| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá architektonickým vývojem mešity al-Azhar v Káhiře, podrobným popisem nejdůležitějších částí této mešity, přestavbami za vládnoucích dynastií v Egyptě a také jejich postoj k této budově. Práce také ve zkratce pojednává o historii města Káhiry a vývoji současné stejnojmenné univerzity al-Azhar. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis deals with the architectural development of the al-Azhar mosque in Cairo, a detailed description of the most important parts of this mosque, the reconstructions of the dynasties ruling the Egypt and their position to this building. The thesis also deals briefly with the history of Cairo and the development of the contemporary al-Azhar university. |
