Abstrakt v dalším jazyce:	Current situation in competitiveness in tourism is influenced by impacts of strong global competition. Small and Medium Enterprises could use cooperation for success in the market. There are many of strategies of cooperation, e.g. strategic alliance, cluster, joint venture etc. More often is cooperation needed in field of tourism. There are tendencies for cooperation between private sector, public sector and even between private and public sector like well-known public-private-partnership. This paper is focused on the topic of cooperation in tourism field in Pilsen region. There were used questionnaire survey for reaching information about current state of cooperation. Results of survey show good relationship between public sector and private sector and also between publics subject each another. Survey identified lack of cooperation between professional organisations and chamber of commerce. Relations inside public sector are not so good and so close and there is place for improvement. Paper describe only one specific example of current state of cooperation in region/destination. Further research should be focused on bigger regions and comparison.
