| Abstract: | Studie se zaměřuje na pojem rozumu a „rozumného člověka“ ve Wittgensteinově díle „O jistotě“. Tvrdím, že Wittgensteinovy poznámky o rozumném člověku vyvolávají přinejmenším dvě otázky: zda rozum je podstatný pojem a zda musíme přijmout relativistický pohled na rozum. Ukazuji, že interakcionistické pojetí rozumu, zastávané mimo jiné autory ovlivněnými Wittgensteinem, může pomoci tyto dva problémy obejít. Interakcionistický přístup k rozumu je rozeznatelný v některých poznámkách v "O jistotě", je však kombinovaný s tradičnějším chápáním rozumu. |
| Abstract in different language: | My paper focuses on the concept of reason and “the reasonable man” in Wittgenstein’s On Certainty. I argue that Wittgenstein’s remarks on the reasonable man create at least two questions: whether reason is a substantial concept and whether we must accept relativism about reason. I show that an interactionist understanding of reason, developed among others by authors influenced by Wittgenstein, can help circumvent these two problems. I argue that an interactionist approach to reason can be vaguely discerned in some remarks in On Certainty, but is intermingled with a more traditional understanding of reason. |
