Abstract: Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ošetřovatelské péče u obézních pacientů v intenzivní péči. Rozdělena je na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je zpracována definice obezity, její etiologie, diagnostika, nejčastější komplikace s ní spojené, ale také obezita v kontextu intenzivní péče, rozdělená dle jednotlivých tělních systémů. V praktické části práce zjišťuje názor studentů na problematiku ošetřovatelské péče o obézního pacienta v intenzivní péči.
Abstract in different language: This bachelors thesis deals with nursing care for obese patients in the context of the intensive care unit. Thesis is divided into two main sections, theoretical and practical. The theoretical section deals with definition of obesity, it's etiology, diagnosis, most common complications and also with obesity in the context of intensive care unit divided by individual organ systems. Practical part of this thesis finds out student opinions about the nursing care for obese patients in the intensive care unit.
