Abstract in different language: The paper describes the measurement of ovality of large induction machine rotor and the calculation of the air gap size along the rotor circumference. Also the withdrawal forces are calculated and the causes for its decline are discussed. The model is assembled and the influence of rotor ovality on the machine stator is described.
