Abstract: Bakalářská práce se zabývá komplementovým systémem. Komplementový systém je důležitá složka nespecifického imunitního systému. Teoretická část obsahuje popis komplementu, jeho důležitou funkci v imunitním systému a typy aktivačních cest. V další části jsou popsány poruchy komplementových složek, jeho diagnostika a léčba. V praktické části porovnávám metody ELISA a RID. Pomocí těchto metod stanovujeme testy celkové aktivity komplementu AH50 (pro alternativní cestu) a CH50 (pro klasickou cestu). Metody ELISA a RID jsou v praktické části této bakalářské práce popsány a porovnány z hlediska časové náročnosti, složitosti na přípravu a ekonomických nákladů pro laboratoře. Závěrem práce je vypočten korelační koeficient a uveden statistický popis jednotlivých metod.
Abstract in different language: The bachelor thesis deals with the complement system. The complement system is an important component of the non-specific immune system. The theoretical part contains a description of complement, its important function in the immune system and types of activation pathways. In the next part, complement component disorders, its diagnosis and treatment are described. In the practical part, I compare ELISA and RID methods. Using these methods, we determine the tests of total complement activity AH50 (for the alternative pathway) and CH50 (for the classical pathway). ELISA and RID methods are described and compared in the practical part of this bachelor thesis in terms of time, complexity of preparation and economic costs for laboratories. The conclusion of the work is calculated a correlation coefficient and statistical description of individual methods.
