| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá literární tvorbou Salwy Bakr. Rozebírá její krátké povídky a novelu The Golden Chariot. Příběhy autorky se zaměřují na postavení ženy v egyptské společnosti. Píše o chudých a utlačovaných ženách. Její příběhy odrážejí situaci žen během vlády tří prezidentů - Gamala Abdela Násira, Anwara Sádáta a Husního Mubáraka. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis focuses on an Egyptian woman, the author Salwa Bakr and her writings. Author?s work includes short stories and novels, which portray Egyptian women on the edge of society. Salwa Bakr writes about oppressed and poor women. The main aim was to outline the content of Salwa Bakr´s stories and to analyze them. Her stories reflect a situation of Egyptian women during the reign of three Egyptian presidents - Gamal Abdel Nasser, Anwar Sadat and Husni Mubarak. |
