Abstract in different language: Facebook is a phenomenon that offers significant and attractive opportunities to marketers. This paper presents the most popular social networking service as a platform for advertising, mentions its specifics and provides readers with the overview of Facebook’s advertising possibilities. The author presents options of setting, targeting and pricing of Facebook advertising campaigns, and includes campaign categorization and effectiveness evaluation. The last part of the article presents practical examples of realized communication campaigns and focuses also on evaluation of their results.
