Abstract in different language:	This dissertation deals with the changes of position of Democratic people´s republic of Korea (DPRK) in international system since 1948 till present. In this issue, we could have experienced highly dynamic development. In the Cold War period, DPRK played the role of a small state which oriented itself practically exclusively on Soviet Union and to some extent, also on China. Nevertheless, since 1990s, DPRK has slowly been obtaining continuously more relevance in international community, not only because of its military potential. The main goal of this dissertation is to explore the process of change of position of DPRK in international system using four groups of variables. From theoretical point of view, author works with the foundations of the theoretical pluralism.
