| Abstract: | Článek popisuje vývoj doménově omezené expresivní syntézy pro český jazyk. Náš současný systém pro syntézu řeči je založen na metodě výběru jednotek a generuje velmi kvalitní řeč v neutrálním stylu. Tato práce je zaměřena na popis změn provedených v řečovém syntetizéru, aby výsledná řeč byla více expresivní. Je také popsán poslechový test, který má dokázat a nebo vyvrátit teorii, že expresivita v doménově omezené syntéze může být popsána tzv. komunikačními funkcemi. Porovnání současného systému s nově vytvořeným expresivním syntetizérem je také předmětem této práce. Okrajově také zmíníme proces nahrávání expresivního korpusu a jeho anotaci použitím právě výše zmíněných komunikačních funkcí pomocí dalšího poslechového testu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This paper describes a development of limited domainexpressive speech synthesis for the Czech language. Ourcurrent speech synthesis system is based on unit selection methodsand produces high quality speech in a neutral speaking style. Thiswork focuses on modifications made in the synthesis algorithmto integrate expressivity into generated speech. There is alsointroduced a listening test, which should prove or disprove thatexpressivity in limited domain speech synthesis could be modelledby so-called communicative functions. A comparison betweenneutral and expressive speech synthesis is presented. This paperalso briefly discusses the process of an expressive speech corpusrecording and its annotating using the communicative functionsby means of another listening test. |
