| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá komparací earnings managamentu ve vztahu k české účetní legislativě a IAS/IFRS. Nejprve jsou vymezeny základní oblasti kreativního účetnictví a earnings managementu. Následuje problematika týkající se harmonizace a účetní etiky. Další kapitola srovnává český účetní systém a systém Mezinárodních standardů. Předposlední kapitola se věnuje pojetí nákladů a výnosů v obou těchto systémech. Závěrečná praktická část se soustředí na konkrétní techniky earnings managementu, jejich použitelnost v obou těchto systémech a jejich dopad na výsledek hospodaření. Toto téma jsem si zvolila, protože earnings management je zajímavá, ale stále poměrně neprobádaná oblast. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis compares earnings managament used in relation to Czech Accounting Legislation and IAS/IFRS. Firstly it describes what creative accounting and earnings management is about and what it includes. Then the part about harmonization and accounting ethics follows. The next part is about Czech Accounting Legislation and IAS/IFRS in general. The fourth chapter compares income and expenses according to Czech Accounting Legislation and IAS/IFRS. The last part concentrates on examples of earnings management techniques a their use in Czech Accounting Legislation and IAS/IFRS. It also explains influence of these techniques on profit itself. I have chosen the topic because I find it interesting and also earnings management is still an unexplored topic. |
