| Abstract: | Autor ve své práci bude prezentovat a analyzovat turecké tažení roku 1683, které vyvrcholilo obležením Vídně a porážkou osmanských vojsk v bitvě na Kahlenbergu. Svou pozornost zaměří především na následující problémy- průběh a příčiny posledního velkého náporu na západ, osobnost velkovezíra Kara Mustafy, chyby na osmanské straně. Pokud jde o protivníka, zde bude věnovat pozornost jak mezinárodním souvislostem, tak průběhu obrany Vídně a hlavně významu vítězství křesťanů pro další vývoj Evropy. |
| Abstract in different language: | The author of the thesis will be present and analyze the Turkish campaign in 1683, which culminated in the siege of Vienna and the defeat of Ottoman troops in the Battle of Kahlenberg. The attention will focused on the following issues - the course and causes of the final Turkish onslaught on the west, the Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa personality, errors on the Ottoman side. Regarding the opponent, there will be attention to the international context and the course of defense of Vienna and especially the importance of Christian victory for the further development of Europe. |
