| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je stručným popisem vzniku a vývoje hudebního žánru post-hardcore. Podrobně se věnuje významným interpretům, osobnostem, hudebním festivalům a nahrávací společnosti Dischord Records, která nese obrovský podíl na popularizaci tohoto žánru. Též se zabývá životním stylem hardcorové subkultury a základnímu vysvětlení pojmů DIY a straight edge. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis briefly describes birth and evolution of a musical genre known as post-hardcore. It comprises a detailed study of major artists, famous figures and music festivals that greatly influenced this particular genre. It also includes a study, that cover all the crucial information about Dischord Records record company, which was one of the most significant record companies out there. The thesis also deals with a lifestyle of the hardcore subculture and a basic explanation of the terms DIY and straight edge. |
