| Abstract: | Má bakalářská práce pojednává o společenském dohledu, který zde opírám o teorii Panoptikonu a panopticismu. Vycházím zde tak z klasického pojetí Panoptikonu, jak jej koncipoval Jeremy Bentham, ale i z pojetí Michela Foucaulta, který tuto teorii uchopuje, jako něco, skrze co si lze představit, jak funguje moc ve společnosti. V průběhu času, se společenský dohled stal samozřejmou součástí lidských životů. Nové technologie dohledu umožňují, aby každý člověk byl viditelný, klasifikovatelný a kontrolovatelný, přesně jako tomu bylo v Panoptikonu. Jen jeho forma se proměnila, místo centrální věže a dozorců, zde máme CCTV systémy a policejní hlídky v našich městech. Ty se však již nesnaží o jedincovu nápravu či disciplínu, ale spíše o jeho kontrolu a klasifikaci. |
| Abstract in different language: | My bachelor thesis deals with social surveillance, which I based on the theory of Panopticon and panopticism. My thesis is based on the classical form of Panopticon, as was described by Jeremy Bentham, but also on the concepts of Michel Foucoult, who handle this theory as something, through which we can imagine how power in society works. Over time, the social surveillance has become a natural part of human lives. New surveillance technologies allow us to see, classify and control each person, exactly as in panopticon itself. Only its form has changed. Instead of the central tower and guards, we have CCTV systems and police patrols in ours cities. However, they are not seek for the remedy or discipline of individuals, but rather of their control and classification. |
