| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce na téma: Být fit: Fitness centra a zdraví z pohledu sociologie se věnuje fenoménu fitness center a jedincům, kteří jejich služeb využívají. Cílem práce, která se zakládá na kvalitativním výzkumu, je zjistit, co vede lidi k navštěvování fitness center, jaký mají tito lidé vztah ke zdraví a cvičení a jak je navštěvování fitness center ovlivnilo. Základním přístupem tohoto kvalitativního výzkumu je případová studie. Hlavní metodou sběru dat jsou polostrukturované rozhovory s deseti participanty, kteří pravidelně fitness centra navštěvují, nebo navštěvovali. Další metodou sběru dat je zúčastněné pozorování ve vybraném fitness centru. |
| Abstract in different language: | The purpose of this bachelor thesis, "Be Fit: Fitness Centers and Health from Sociology Perspective" is to describe the phenomenon of fitness centers and individuals consuming their services. This thesis aims, through the use of qualitative research, to explore the reasoning behind visiting centers and visitors relationship to healthy lifestyle, exercising and how they were affected by visiting those centers. The main approach of the qualitative research is based on a case study. The main methodology of the research was structured interviews with ten participants, who are, or used to be, regular visitors of fitness centers. The second methodology was an observation in a selected fitness center. |
